🏡 Meet Your Neighbor:

Jeremy Forrest with Premier Pro Wash & Seal

In Florida, pressure washing isn’t optional. It’s survival. Between algae, pollen, and birds treating your house like Top Golf, our homes take a beating. Sealing is the next level. It’s the part where you stop fighting fires and start hiring a bodyguard for your pavers. And in a world full of pressure washing companies, one name keeps floating to the top: Premier Pro Wash & Seal, led by Jeremy Forrest.

I met Jeremy a few months back, and aside from the fact that he somehow knows everyone, what really caught my attention was his ambition and sharp business sense. This man could have walked into any industry and walked out running it.

We recently sat down with him to learn more. He’s an interesting guy, a dedicated business owner, a family man, and honestly, one of those people Southshore is lucky to claim.

Jeremy has called Apollo Beach home since 2009, drawn in by the warm weather, nearby beaches, and the convenience of having his friends and family close. Before Premier Pro, he spent 20 years in the Air Force working everywhere from the operating room to orthopedic and sterile supply units. When he retired, he knew one thing for sure: he didn’t want the corporate grind. He wanted to serve his community in a more personal way. That led to Premier Pro Wash & Seal.

Premier Pro stands alone as the only Veteran Owned pressure washing business in the area, something Jeremy takes pride in. The company also offers a referral program that rivals Chick-fil-A’s fan loyalty. Seriously. You can earn credit toward future services, gift it to friends and family, or take cold, hard cash. Couple that with their warranty on original paver sealing, and it becomes obvious why his company is exploding.

When he’s not running the business, Jeremy and his wife love exploring new restaurants and hitting the beach. He keeps his mind sharp and his body sharper, regularly training in Jiu-Jitsu and Muay Thai.

January marks 10 years in business, which is no small feat in the world of entrepreneurship. Over the years, Jeremy has adjusted his leadership style to become more of a mentor for the youth. And it’s paid off in more ways than revenue. Jeremy will tell you, the reward of watching his employees purchase their first homes, buy their first cars, or experience other major life events beats money any day.

As for the future? Wide open. Jeremy believes in systems that work, staying process-focused, and keeping an eye on the long game. He also knows that sometimes the business owner is the bottleneck, and knowing when to step back and delegate is just as important as knowing when to lead from the front.

Now you know a bit more about the guy behind one of the busiest pressure washing and sealing companies in Southshore. If you step outside and your pavers look tired or your siding looks like it’s growing a Chia Pet, give Jeremy and Premier Pro Wash & Seal a call. You’ll be in good hands.

Early Verdict on Amazon Prime Air

A few weeks ago, we reported on Amazon taking flight. They launched a Prime Air delivery facility right here in Ruskin. While I haven’t heard from many locals on this yet, reviews are sprouting up from other locations, and it’s not looking good.

The internet is filling up with videos of rogue drones dropping packages into lakes, crashing into homes, and zipping around residential airspace, causing panic. Yes, it might be just as bad as it sounds. Residents in one community were so annoyed that they actually banded together and begged Amazon to shut it down.

From software glitches to midair collisions with other drones, Amazon might be dropping the ball… literally. Have you had any experience with Prime Air yet? We’d love to hear about it. Shoot us a message at [email protected] and let us know if it’s really as bad as it sounds, or if this is just another case of a few problems being overreported.

Time to Head to the Theater 🎭

Happening This Weekend!

(Friday and Saturday)

A little down the road in Plant City, but worth the drive. Parlor Story is a 1947 Broadway play by William McCleery, a former newspaper reporter who later taught at Princeton. Set in a small university town, it follows a retired reporter turned journalism professor at a moral crossroads: take a promotion that compromises his values or stand up for what’s right to protect the next generation of writers. It’s a lesser-known gem, and this production leans into that discovery with rich, challenging roles the cast loves.

We should all support the arts as much as we can. These aren’t just performances, they’re reflections of life that remind us what humanity truly means. The arts fuel the passion, curiosity, and innovation that push our civilization forward.
