Wishing You The Best Mother’s Day Ever

I heard a line in a movie once that’s been attributed to William Thackeray, but it goes something like this: “Mother is the name of God in the lips and hearts of young children.”

As we celebrate moms all across the world on this day, I want to send a special shout-out to the two most important women in my life: my mom and my wife. And while their impact is very personal to me, we are all here because of our mother. And because of that, I wanted to send a special message to all the mothers that read our newsletter. Whether you hear it today or not, you are loved, and we are always thinking of you.

To all the moms

Dear Mom,

Thank you for loving me. Thank you for everything that you’ve given me, including the piece of your heart that beats in my chest. Thank you for all the days that you didn’t feel like it, but you showed up anyway. Thank you for all the late nights and the early mornings. Thank you for all the “be carefuls” and “I told you so’s.” Thank you for the words you spoke over me as I slept that kept me safe. Thank you for holding me so close, but allowing me to spread my wings and fly.

I may grow and move away. I may get so busy with life that I forget to call. But a day won’t pass when you are not on my mind. I couldn’t forget you any more than I could forget myself. You were the first voice I heard. The first face I saw. The first touch I felt. I knew you before I met you.

There’s no way I could say it enough, but I love you.
