Sweet Relief on US 301 in Riverview

So, if you’ve ever tried merging onto US 301 during rush hour and felt like you were starring in your own slow-motion traffic jam, you’re not hallucinating. Riverview’s growth has turned our roads into parking lots, and drivers have been begging for help.
Well, here’s some good news: FDOT has just activated a new traffic light at the corner of US 301 and Ambleside Boulevard. Cue collective sigh of relief from commuters tired of playing frogger between traffic waves during the evening crawl.

Ride The Rip

Let’s talk about something that doesn’t get enough attention but absolutely should: rip currents. They sound harmless, like a beachy yoga move, but don’t be fooled. These narrow, fast-moving channels of water can catch even strong swimmers off guard and pull them away from shore in seconds.
We’ve all seen the signs. Some of us have ignored them. But behind every warning is a very real risk. Families in Florida and beyond have lost loved ones to rip currents, and it often happens on days when the ocean looks calm and inviting.
